Storytelling Dinner:

Join artist Helena Keeffe for an intimate dinner crafted to tell the immigration stories of everyone gathered at the table. This 12 course meal will employ food as visceral illustration, combining elements from each dinner guest's family history to create an intricate web of food traditions and cultural navigation. In order to reserve a spot for this event you must sign up by June 15th and send Helena brief responses to the following questions.

Choose one branch of your family tree and describe how they came to the United States. What were the circumstances of their immigration? Are there family recipes or traditional foods that traveled with them? Have any of the traditions from various branches of your family tree combined to create hybrid traditions? Is there anything else you would like to share about your relationship to immigration
