As one of the greatest male tennis players of all time, Borg won every major tournament except for the U.S. Open, which was his particular jinx. The 1980 U.S. Open Final was his third and last failed attempt at an unattainable Grand Slam, and was also his last year of holding the No. 1 ranking.
